AltiApp is currently a one-man band, orchestrated and played by Oliver Stockley. I am dedicated to producing high quality reviews of iPhone and iPod touch applications, primarily games. I hope to provide detailed and honest insights into the app world, highlighting the best and worst that it offers. Through my reviews, I aim to aid consumers in spending their money wisely whilst experiencing the most excellent apps for their devices.
Apps are being released at a far quicker rate than I can cover all of them, and although the App Store rating system goes some way to indicating the quality of many apps, ratings can often prove unreliable, and many apps can become entirely overlooked. As such, AltiApp is focussed on review quality rather than review quantity: By providing well-considered, trustworthy opinions, it will help consumers discover the most unique, exciting and high quality apps available. If time constraints dictate that I cannot provide a review of feature worthy apps, I will still strive to indicate their quality through some other means. Where possible, I will provide some form of coverage of every brilliant app that I discover.
I will never accept financial incentives to review apps. I strongly believe that editorial and advertising should be entirely separate entities, and as such will always review apps according to the same standards, whether an app is provided by promo code or purchase.
Please Note: I am currently unable to focus my attention on AltiApp. If you’re looking for app reviews, check out another site I write for: The Smartphone App Review. If that’s not enough review goodness, you can also check out its sister site, Voxel Arcade for loads of videogame-related content!
